DR Trimmer engine
Просмотров 1 тыс.10 лет назад
This engine ran low on oil and this video was for the customer to view till our worker John was talking in the back round. This engine was only 3 months old, DR Trimmer sent us a new engine to install on the customers machine under warranty even though it was the customers fault. Cost of the engine would have been $1200 plus labor.

UPDATE:1 year and still cranks within the first 2-3 pulls. Probably will buy another when this one finally does bite the dust ruclips.net/user/postUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX . No issues at all. Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it “walk” like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.

Have a simpson PS60841, have to keep the wand trigger pulled back all the time to keep it running. Took the unloader valve apart and replaced some o rings so as the spring loaded adjuster would slide back and forth. Then inside the port in the spot where the two orings are on the unloader valve is a small port that goes back to the discharge where you connect the hose for the wand. This small port was plugged, used a hobart tip cleaner which uses tiny drill bits. Found tip cleaner at Northern tool. Also used some .035 hard welding mig wire to clean out this small port. You will need a flash light to see it.

This would be great if my Ryobi wasn't so old. I got it for free from my buddy, so NOT complaining. It was leaking like nobody's business and came with a wand that couldn't be taken apart. So, I got a wand, nozzle and 5 tips on ebay, then a hose from Wal-mart. Fired it up....NO PRESSURE! Watched this video, the clip broke..had to take the assembly apart...got the clip out, but that darn unloader will NOT come out. I think it's rusted in there! I'm gonna keep trying...and yes I've sprayed it WD-40...ugh!!!
